Frequently Asked Questions

What should I wear?

Clients are incouraged to dress down to their comfort level. Drapping is a term we use to keep all areas not being worked under our linens. Our therapists will be using a lotion, so if a client does choose to keep cloths on, we will alter techniques to accommodate.

What is the difference between Massage and Bodywork?

Bodywork is only conducted by Peter. The intention is to receive a muscle assessment and aid in decifering Chronic tension vs. Acute tension. This is conducted through both consultation and hands on practice. A massage would be muscle work for acute tension, maintence muscle care, and theraputic purpose. Techniques vary between swedish, structural integration, trigger point, ETC. but do not interpret muscle patterns, or source cause of symptoms.
